Dehydrating Tomatoes

Of all the fruit family, tomatoes are used far more often around the world. For centuries they have been used for cooking, eaten raw or made into sauce.


Cherry & Roma Tomatoes are great for dehydrating.

For longer shelf life, I dehydrate my tomatoes until they are crisp. When using them sooner, I dehydrate them to a leathery consistency. Either way you do them they rehydrate quickly and retain their flavor.
